Project Brief
STKR is an archive of the street in book form. It gathers 101 stickers from Melbourne’s inner-north, lifted from signposts, poles, walls and bathroom stalls. The aim: take something made to be temporary and give it a permanent home.
Our Approach
Eleven months of collecting, curating and designing were gathered into three chapters, each dedicated to a suburb. Every sticker is catalogued with a name, a map location and an account of where it was found, set within a system of four layouts. The book is printed on recycled stock chosen to echo the paper of the stickers themselves.
